The Laboratorio de Prodestur, the body dependent on the Diputación, has managed to reevaluate its technical competence to carry out tests on water and agri-food products, thus guaranteeing "the reliability of the results obtained".

Prodestur has obtained this re-evaluation of the accreditation after satisfactorily overcoming the audits that the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC) has carried out in its laboratory, in which both the technical compliance of the analyzes carried out in agri-food products have been evaluated. waters, as the quality of their management.

ENAC has verified that the Laboratory "applies in its analytical testing processes good practices, such as the qualification and calibration of the instrumental measurement equipment, the validation of the methods used and the technical competence of its analysts".

Accreditation "adds value to the activities of the Laboratory, generating confidence in the Administration, customers, the market and society in general, it also helps to detect opportunities for improvement in the system and to reduce the costs associated with non-quality," the Deputy of Prodestur, Magdalena Rodríguez.

The Deputy highlighted the enormous effort made by all the staff of the agrarian section to achieve this reevaluation and extension of the accreditation, which continues betting on the continuous improvement of its Services.
