The twenty-seventh Week of Cooking organized by the Industrial Association of Segovia Hostelers and in which the County Council collaborates will take place between March 26 and April 7. The event returns to its annual appointment serving as a point of reference and meeting of the sector, which dresses long to present its most representative gastronomic proposals. Thirteen restaurants, five of them from the province, make up the list of participants.
In the presentation of the Week, which took place yesterday, participated the deputy of Prodestur, Magdalena Rodriguez, who underlined the tradition and roots of the Week of Cooking and praised the quality of the Segovian hotel industry and its professionals. The deputy stressed that one of the days of being dedicated to the province, with a route through Migueláñez and Marugán, and the participation of five restaurants in the province. The Food of Segovia brand will have an active presence during the Week.
During the cycle, multiple activities will be developed with wine, beer and oil tastings, ham cutting classes, cooking workshops and an exhibition of acrobatics with pizzas. This year, when the Week coincides several days with the VII Regional Congress of Hospitality, some of the planned events will take place in the tent that will be installed on the avenue of the Aqueduct.
And they will be completed with the activities programmed by the association of waiters, such as the National Contest of Chamber Waiters, the Cocktail Party and the Exaltation Party of the Piglet.
