The fifth edition of the Prodestur photography contest already has winners. After a long deliberation of the professional jury, composed of Sergio de Frutos Misis, Ángel Camarero and Diego de Miguel, and chaired by Deputy Magdalena Rodríguez, due to the quality of many of the works presented, the photograph of José Benito Trigo finally won entitled 'Rainbow night' on the hermitage of San Cebrián de Zarzuela del Pinar.
This year, on the occasion of the project being
carrying out from the Diputación for the revitalization of the province of Segovia through astro-tourism, Prodestur chose the theme of "The Night Sky of the Province of Segovia", as part of the photographs presented are exhibited at the Tourism Fair Interior, INTUR and 2019 are also used for next year's calendar.
With this contest, the Tourism area of the Diputación de Segovia aims to raise awareness of the Segovian sky among lovers of this type of tourism, while also revitalizing the tourist flow through the province, as the photographs, in addition to capturing the Heaven, they should also be taken in places in the province that were recognizable. The winning photograph, of this neighbor of La Lastrilla, met all these requirements, so the jury has decided that it was the work worthy of the 700 euros assigned to the first prize. The second prize, endowed with 200 euros, has fallen to the photograph 'Enamorados' by Juan Carlos de la Fuente, from Cuéllar in which the Torreón de Santa María de Lovingos is identified. Finally, the work 'Pintando el Cielo' by Pablo Pérez de Urretxu (Guipúzcoa) with a print showing the Hermitage of San Marcos in Narros de Cuéllar, has been the recipient of the third prize endowed with 100 euros.
