The rehabilitation of our rural house dates from the 2004, starting from the old structure of a Majada (place of recollection in the times of pasturing for the shepherd and his cattle), conserving entirely its interior structure of wood and stone walls, following the construction traditional of the area. It is located in Sigueruelo, a small town in the Sierra Segovia with natural charm.
"La Majada de Sigueruelo", with a capacity for 8 people (full rental), is located in a privileged environment near the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama, just 1 hour from Madrid, 35 min from Segovia, 30 min of the Natural Park of the Sickles of the Duratón River, to 15 min of Pedraza and to 20 min of Sepúlveda makes it exceptional in its location.
La Majada has three double rooms and one double, all different in size and decoration, rustic style with wooden beams and ceiling, with heating and fully equipped with household items (sheets and towels); two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower; the kitchen equipped with small and large appliances; a living room with flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace, plus all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
The stone walls, the luminous interiors and the predominance of wood throughout the house make the stay a warm and welcoming environment in a natural environment.
Ideal refuge on cold days to enjoy the fire in the fireplace, read our favorite book, play board games, enjoy the garden with arbor and stone barbecue 30 meters from the house (for exclusive use for our customers), hiking, relaxing in the company of family or friends, and recreating the magical environment that surrounds it.
The Ministry of Tourism of Castilla y León has cataloged "La Majada de Sigueruelo" with 3 stars for its qualities and equipment.
