The Royal Glass Factory - Museum of Glass is one of the most important examples of European industrial architecture of the eighteenth century.

Designed by the Real Site rigger, José Díaz Gamones, at 1770, and enlarged by the architect Juan de Villanueva, today it is the headquarters of the National Glass Center Foundation and the Glass Museum, which has temporary and permanent collections on European glass , from the 16th to the 19th centuries, glass from La Granja, stained glass windows from the Maumejean Workshop and Contemporary Glass, as well as the artisan manufacture of La Granja glass that remains true to the traditional production of the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja with the blow to cane. The excellent quality and skill of the artisans make this type of crystal one of the most appreciated and internationally famous.
