In this small town of 168 inhabitants, it is located 20 km from Iscar and 14 km from Cuellar, it belongs to the community of Villa y Tierra de Cuéllar, and depends on the municipality of Samboal.
The name may come from "Navarrese", as they were the ones who repopulated this place. Previously it was called Narros only, but in the s. XX to his name the suffix "de Cuéllar" was added.
What to see
Church of Our Lady of the Conception
It is located next to the SG-342 road, inside the town; It is a mixture of Mudejar styles with other more modern ones, in which the bell tower stands out.
Hermitage of San Marcos
Located 1,3 km from Narros, along a path that goes to the left. On the Ochavo road we will go parallel to the road that goes towards Arroyo de Cuéllar. 41º 18 '36.27' '-4º 24' 10.07. This hermitage of small dimensions, has a Mudejar façade, and stands out for its interior Mudejar coffered ceiling, it is located at the top of a moor.
On Escuelas Street, you will find the Laguna del Tío Alberto. This large lagoon has an area with benches where you can sit and contemplate the species it preserves, such as ducks or swans. It is fenced to protect species; it also has a boat, with a small jetty.
Trails and parks
Next to the church, on Lavaderos street, there is a park with some stone tables.
As for the paths, we find a path from which you can go to Fresneda de Cuellar, about 4,5 km and it is not signposted. It is reached by the Molino street on the right and continues along the Egido gorge.
At 4 km you can also walk to Campo de Cuellar, along Lavaderos street, continue straight ahead until you reach Campo.
