Rural and Active Tourism trains its online management partners

The association Rural and Active Tourism in Segovia works in the training of its partners in online management, so that they can develop with ease in matters such as reservations through the internet or in updating their websites and calendars. The CYL Digital Space of the Board in the capital yesterday hosted the first day of training on the use of new communication technologies as a tool for the publication of their accommodation and companies through digital portals.

The president of the Association, Domingo Asenjo, explained yesterday that the group has been working for six months to improve the marketing campaigns of their establishments to create an internet portal that is a reference in rural accommodation in Segovia. "Now we have started with the digital training of our partners, which many do not have, taking into account that more and more reservations are made online," he said.

The Association of Rural and Active Tourism in Segovia has been declared 'Collaborator of the CYL Digital Program'. Thus, they can develop training sessions for the rural tourism sector in the province of Segovia, using the classrooms of the CYL Digital Space of Segovia during the entire academic year, from October from 2019 to June from 2020, free of charge. It is planned to hold several training days such as yesterday, with all managers and managers of the rural tourism sector in the province.

The first day had a great success of participation by the partners, who filled the classroom, and received personalized training, since everyone has their doubts.

On the other hand, the Association, according to its president, will influence its demands to the administrations, in matters such as the installation of efficient digital networks, the improvement of access to unique environments such as the Hermitage of San Frutos, and the control of Illegal establishments In this sense, Domingo Asenjo indicates that currently the Association registers 180 partners, while the province has about 800 accommodations. “Supply is growing more than demand and we are growing slowly. Our goal is to make ourselves visible and referents in the networks as an association and that the lodges offer updated data, to generate confidence in the possible clients ”.
