In total, 26.415 people visited the capital and stayed in one of its hotels during the month of October - an 3,52% less than in the same period of the previous year. Both the number of Spanish travelers and foreigners decreased, being the first one more pronounced.
The number of overnight stays also decreased, by -2,90%, to stand at the 48.511 hotel nights. In this index, the drop in statistics was due, in large part, to the reduction of stays of foreign tourists - a -6,52% -.
The positive note was recorded in the increase in the average stay, which happened from 1,82 nights in 2018 to 1,84 last October.
Better data obtained the whole of the province, where the results of the previous year were improved, with a greater number of travelers and overnight stays in hotel establishments throughout the Segovian territory.
