CASTLE OF TURÉGANO

The fortress was built in the s. XV by order of the humanist bishop Juan Arias Dávila, encompassing in its interior the Romanesque church of San Miguel del s. XII. It was episcopal lordship and jail where the secretary of Felipe II, Antonio López, was imprisoned. Guided tours are available by appointment.

FOREST MUSEUM "CASA DEL INGENIERO"

In the old "Engineer's House", in the middle of the pine forest, we are offered an exhibition dedicated to rediscovering and appreciating the life of the pine forests, its historical evolution and the elements that distinguish it as the traditional sticks, furnaces to obtain the resin.
